Whats Ahead 2013-Linky Party!

Gearing up for January and the rest of the school year is both exciting and stressful for me! However, a few days before Christmas break is over, I always enjoy changing a few things in my classroom, creating better and more engaging lessons, and getting as much sleep and relaxation as possible.

I have decided to join Michelle, over at "Making It as a Middle School Teacher," to look at what's ahead in 2013:

    I totally need a pencil sharpener! I don't even have an old school one in my room, I rely on my students' if I need one! LOL

    I'm so jealous that you get to teach WWII soon! That was my favorite social studies unit when I was teaching 5th grade, but now I'm in fourth and we stop just before the Civil War.

    I LOVE all of this! Especially the behavior problems having to go!

    And I actually just got a new electronic pencil sharpener for Christmas and I can't wait to set it up in my classroom!

    Jealous of your goal of 80% passing! ... I wish I could shoot that high! :(

    ALSO jealous that you guys have IPADS????? Is that true? If so, i'm actually MORE than jealous!

    Yes--Our 5th graders were given iPads to use in science and social studies last year from a grant written by our district. We have since been able to keep them and I use them in EVERY subject! I LOVE them too!
