Lesson Plan Format

A lot of new teachers are still using lesson plan books!!? WHY? This is a digital world! SO I thought I'd share my lesson plan format for anyone out there looking for a new way to plan their weeks or new teachers looking at different styles of planning.

I did not create this one, but I have tweaked it over the years. At first, it was not my style, but WOW has it saved me over the years and kept me focused on just what the children need on a weekly basis.

When I complete the planning, I print it and place it at the front of my room, right next to my daily agenda. By doing this, I am able to quickly write the next day's lesson quickly and efficiently before leaving for the day. It is also helpful for administration and/or unexpected subs to see my weekly plans.

HOPE IT HELPS!?!?

  1. I am new to your site and I am loving it! I am a fourth grade teacher and have enjoyed perusing your blog! I would love to use that plan book you use! Do you mind sharing it or where you were able to get it from? I have been writing my plans in by hand and I love how organized it is!
    Thank you!!
