oooh I love the turtle graphic for vocab! What a fun way to work with words! I'm your newest follower, I just found your blog through the linky party on Farley's page and popped over because I teach year six in New Zealand which is equivalent to your year 5 :) I just started blogging 3 days ago. I am addicted already!
I'm going to do some more exploring of your blog now!
I LOVE THIS too!! Have you posted any of your smart board lessons on SmartExchange? If not, I would love any that you have!! I am worried about having the time to create all these things, learn 5th grade standards, and learn common core. our district has not given us any training on CC. So far our training consists of handing us things for our notebook and tabbing certain sections...UGH!!!! chayes@union.k12.sc.us
I love the highlighting the words you know page! Can these be found somewhere, or did you make it yourself on wordle?

Hi! I made the turtle on tagxedo.com last year.
DeleteI don't teach science but these are so cool!!!! I currently teach 5/6 grade history, but may teach ALL subjects in 6th grade next year. :)
